Dominick Casciato, DPM, FACFAS, is a board-certified, fellowship-trained podiatric surgeon at the Orlando VA Medical Center and an Assistant Professor at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine. He completed his residency at the OhioHealth Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio, followed by a fellowship in limb preservation and deformity correction at the University of Maryland. His clinical and research interests focus on limb preservation, complex deformity correction, and outcomes research in foot and ankle surgery. His work also explores the application of artificial intelligence and large language models in surgical decision-making. Dr Casciato is actively involved in resident education and academic leadership within the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Donald Curtis, DPM, FACFAS is a native of Salt Lake City, Utah and received his undergraduate degree in Behavioral Science & Health at the University of Utah. He went on to complete his medical training at the William M Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. Dr Curtis then continued his training at the Carl T Hayden VA Medical Center, in Phoenix, Arizona, completing a three-year surgical residency program. Dr Curtis joined Midwestern University in March of 2012, after eight years of private practice. He is course director for Advanced Pathomechanics, Podiatric Medicine II and Podiatric Emergency Medicine and Trauma. Dr Curtis is board certified in Foot Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He also remains an attending at the Carl T Hayden VA Medical Center, working with and helping train the podiatric surgical residents. Dr Curtis is involved with a variety of research activities here on campus ranging from tendon function, wound care and diabetic peripheral neuropathy. In the past, he has been involved with research in infectious disease and inter-professional education as well as being a contributing author to a textbook on Diagnostic Ultrasound of the Foot and Ankle.

Adrienne Estes, DPM, MS, FACFAS, DABPM, FAPWHc is a podiatric surgeon practicing in Southern California. She serves as an Associate Professor at Western University of Health Sciences and is the Director of Continuing Medical Education. Additionally, she practices at Riverside University Health Systems (RUHS). Dr Estes completed her fellowship at the North Jersey Foot & Ankle Fellowship under Dr Michael Subik. She specializes in minimally invasive surgery, complex limb deformity correction, limb salvage, and surgical offloading solutions for diabetic ulcers. She is double board-certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgery. Since 2016, she has been a fellow of the Academy of Physicians in Wound Healing. Dr Estes is also the Chief of Podiatry at RUHS and serves as the clinical site coordinator for outside rotating PGY3 residents. In her free time, she enjoys traveling with her husband. John Evans, DPM, FACFAS, DABFAS received his DPM from the Temple University College of Podiatric Medicine and has a BS in Pharmacy from the University of Connecticut. He is board-certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (Foot and Ankle) and is Chief of Podiatry at Corewell Health (Beaumont) Medical Center in Dearborn, Michigan. He has served as Chair of the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA) Health Policy and Practice Committee and as a Medicare Carrier Advisory Committee (CAC) representative for over 20 years and was the 2018 recipient of the APMA Award of Excellence. He served as the Podiatric representative to the PAD Guidelines Writing Committee of the American Heart Assn. and American College of Cardiology which were published in 2024 and serves as the Podiatric representative of APMA to the AHA PVD Council. He is active with the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, having served on multiple committees including their Board of Directors for eight years, and is the immediate Past-Chair of their Communications Committee. He is active with the American Limb Preservation Society on the Health Equity and Advocacy Committee as Co-Chair of the Research and Data Analysis Sub-Committee, the CLI Global Society, and as faculty for the New Cardiovascular Horizons organization. Dr Evans is a nationally recognized speaker on a variety of topics including Peripheral Arterial Disease, Diabetic Foot, Limb Salvage and Preservation, Physician Burnout, Dealing with the Difficult Patient, and Mindfulness in Medicine. r. Evans is in private practice in southeast Michigan.

Brittany Everson, DPM


Dr. Mammano received her undergraduate education from California Baptist University, in Riverside, CA. She graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor's Degree of Science in Biology. Her medical education was completed at Western University of Health Sciences with the College of Podiatric Medicine. While at WesternU, she was Editor-in-Chief of the campus student run Extremitas Journal of Lower Limb Medicine. She also founded a website to highlight essays published by podiatry students on their experiences in medicine. Dr. Mammano is now a first-year resident at Chino Valley Medical Center in Southern California. She is passionate about education and teaching podiatry students, and enjoys working as a Clinical Instructor for WesternU. Before pursuing podiatric medicine, she taught English to children overseas in a neighborhood near Seoul, South Korea. She envisions a future working with a nonprofit to provide medical care and surgery for patients in undeveloped countries.

Robert G Frykberg, DPM, MPH, MAPWCA, FRSM, FFPM (Glasg) is a graduate of the California College of Podiatric Medicine in 1976. Dr Frykberg went on to complete his residency training at the New England Deaconess Hospital in Boston. He served as the President of the Massachusetts Podiatric Medical Society and a Member of the Board of Registration in Podiatry. From 1992 to 1994, he attended the Harvard School of Public Health and graduated with a Master of Public Health degree with a concentration in quantitative methods. After 21 years of private practice, Dr Frykberg accepted the position as Clinical Dean of the Des Moines University College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery prior to moving to Phoenix. After 15 years of dedicated service to our Veterans, Dr Frykberg has decided to retire from his role as Chief of Podiatry at the Phoenix VA Medical Center and as Director of the Phoenix VA Medical Center Podiatric Residency Program. He continues to hold the academic rank of Professor, University of Arizona College of Medicine-Phoenix and Adjunct Professor, Midwestern University Program in Podiatric Medicine. Currently, Dr Frykberg is Clinical Professor and Residency Director, Department of Orthopaedics, at UT Health San Antonio, Division of Podiatry in San Antonio, Texas. His research and writing interests have included all facets of lower extremity disorders, but are specifically focused on diabetic foot ulcers, infections, Charcot foot, and wound care. The author of nearly 100 peer-reviewed publications, he has also been the Editor of two textbooks: The High-Risk Foot in Diabetes Mellitus (1991) and the Diabetic Charcot Foot (2010). His expertise in the Diabetic Foot translated into hundreds of speaking invitations nationally and internationally with numerous lecture engagements in China, India, Russia, South America, the UK, Vietnam, Japan, Indonesia, Italy, and across Europe.

Upon graduation she began working at a private practice as an associate for Empire Foot and Ankle Center and as an Assistant Professor at Western College of Podiatric Medicine.

Michael Lalezarian, MD, is a double-board certified Vascular Interventional Radiologist specializing in minimally invasive endovascular arterial revascularization. He is committed to the battle against the devastating consequences of advanced peripheral arterial disease (PAD) and critical limb ischemia (CLI). His daily efforts place him at the forefront of limb salvage and amputation prevention. He has a particular interest in below-knee tibial artery revascularization and pedal arch reconstruction. Timely accessible care is paramount in the effort against peripheral arterial disease and its complications. Dr Lalezarian offers his services in multiple office locations throughout Southern California. Dr Lalezarian values his role as a teaching clinical professor at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA where he instructs and supervises Residents and Fellows. Elizabeth Oh, DPM

Elizabeth Oh, DPM, ABFAS, is a board-qualified podiatric physician with the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS). She completed training at UPMC Mercy in Pittsburgh, PA in limb salvage, foot and ankle trauma, and forefoot and hindfoot reconstruction, with a clinical focus on comprehensive care for adult and pediatric patients. Dr Oh approaches patient care as a collaborative partnership, emphasizing education, shared decision-making, and individualized treatment plans. She is conversationally fluent in English, Spanish, and Korean, allowing her to connect with a diverse patient population. Prior to her medical training, she served in the Peace Corps in Peru, where she assisted with public health initiatives and community-based care, and during her medical journey, she served as the student liaison for the American Board of Podiatric Medicine (ABPM) in addition to being a member of the American Podiatric Medical Student Association (APMSA).

Jessica Vernola Randolph, DPM is the owner and founder of OnPoint Podiatry in Glendale, AZ. Her practice focuses on all aspects of foot and ankle care. She has a large, diverse patient population, treating individuals requiring advanced lower limb reconstruction to elite professional dancers and highly specialized athletes. She provides targeted care to her individual patients' needs.
Dr Randolph is a native of Phoenix, AZ. She is classically trained in ballet and many different modern dance techniques. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance and Choreography from Arizona State University, followed by her Master's in Dance Education for Higher Education from New York University. While living in New York City, she performed and taught for the Isadora Duncan Dance Foundation. While dancing, choreographing, and teaching in New York City, she was first introduced to the field of Dance Medicine.
Dr Randolph returned to Arizona, where she performed, taught, and choreographed as a member of the Movement Source Dance Company for five seasons. After graduating cum laude from Grand Canyon University with a Bachelor of Science with an emphasis in Biology, she went on to earn her Doctorate Degree from Midwestern University in Podiatric Medicine. She then completed a rigorous 3-year surgical residency program at the Carl T. Hayden Phoenix VAMC. Dr Randolph has advanced surgical training in rearfoot reconstruction, limb preservation, advanced wound care, Charcot foot reconstruction, joint arthroscopy, sports medicine, and biomechanics. During her spare time, Dr Randolph remains active in the dance community. She is an avid runner, triathlete, SCUBA diver, and tries to fit in a dance technique class when she can. She is happily married to her best friend, a Veteran of the United States Air Force. Dr and Mr Randolph have two adorable Black Labrador Retrievers, Revan and Malgus, along with a cuddly cat, Jade, who fill their home with love and energy.

Harold Schoenhaus, DPM, FACFAS is a board-certified foot, rearfoot, and reconstructive ankle surgeon by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He is a past president and current fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He holds staff appointments and operating privileges at the University of Pennsylvania Presbyterian Hospital and Chestnut Hill hospital. Dr Schoenhaus' research and clinical interests are in biomechanics, pathomechanics and reconstructive surgery, including joint replacement surgery and pediatric podiatric surgery. Moreover, Dr Schoenhaus is the surgical editor for PRESENT e-Learning Systems, an online medical education and networking resource dedicated to improving the knowledge and skills of healthcare professionals throughout the world. He is a nationally recognized lecturer and pioneer in the field of lower extremity pathomechanics and reconstructive surgery. Dr Schoenhaus has authored several landmark articles in peer-reviewed journals and books. In 2015 Dr Schoenhaus was the recipient of the Gallery of Success Award from Temple University.

Jarrod Shapiro, DPM, FACFAS, FACPM is a Board-Certified podiatric foot and ankle physician and surgeon who has been in practice for almost 20 years. He is also a fellow with the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and the American College of Podiatric Medicine. Dr Shapiro has taught at Western University of Health Sciences College of Podiatric Medicine for the past 13 years and is a full professor and associate dean of clinical affairs. He is the residency program director at the Chino Valley Medical Center PMSR/RRA program in Chino, California. Dr Shapiro's training includes a 3-year foot and ankle residency at Botsford Hospital in Farmington Hills, Michigan after graduating from the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco, CA in 2003. After completing his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree at the California College of Podiatric Medicine, he did his 3-year postgraduate training at Botsford General Hospital in Farmington Hills, Michigan from 2003 - 2006. Alan Sherman, DPM, is a board certified podiatrist who practiced in Delray Beach Florida for 25 years. In 1995, Dr. Sherman founded an online community and website called Podiatry Online, which grew to become the largest Internet community and advocacy group for podiatrists in the world. Podiatry Online was acquired by McKesson in 2000, and Dr. Sherman continued to run it for 3 years, when he stepped down as Editor. He co-founded PRESENT e-Learning Systems in 2003 with Michael Shore, DPM, which went on to become a leading provider of online CME education and social networking services for health care professionals. Its first product was PRESENT Podiatric Residency Education Online, which standardized the curriculum for podiatric residency programs across the country via its weekly online lecture series and ezine publications. Arthur Tarricone, DPM, MPH is a highly accomplished podiatrist specializing in diabetic limb salvage and research. He holds a Master's degree in Biostatistics from the Icahn School of Medicine and a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He completed his residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center and fellowship in diabetic limb salvage and research at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. He has a passion for research, and this is reflected in his awards and publications. His research interests have led to collaboration across multiple specialties including translational research, interventional cardiology, vascular surgery, and orthopedic surgery. While his research efforts have been interdisciplinary the focus has remained consistent: preservation of the lower extremity and limb salvage. Dr Tarricone has presented research findings at prestigious national and international meetings and is now the acting co-director of the podiatry arm of the New York Endovascular Symposium (NYEVS). Dr Tarricone and has received multiple Manuscript awards and received the early career faculty award from the Wound Healing Society.

Steven Wells, DPM, PhD

Steven Wells, DPM, PhD has been in practice since 1997 offering the finest general podiatric care with specialties in limb salvage, diabetic foot reconstruction surgery, podopediatrics, sports medicine, wound care, arthritic problems, and aesthetics. Dr Wells began his post-secondary education at Lehman College in New York City before earning his Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from New York College of Podiatric Medicine in 1997. After an internship in 1998 at St. Clare Hospital, Dr Wells completed a residency at Interfaith Medical Center in 1999 and a Fellowship at SUNY Downstate in 2000. Additionally, in 2017, Dr Wells received a PhD in Philosophy from Newburgh College. Dr Wells is Board Certified and licensed to practice Podiatry in both New York and New Jersey, with hospital affiliations at Brookdale Medical Center, Hackensack Meridian, and Richmond University Medical Center. He is both well respected and active in the podiatric community, with memberships in the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA), the New Jersey Podiatric Medical Association, the American Board of Lower Extremity Surgery, the American Diabetes Association, the National Alliance of Woundcare and Ostomy, and the Academy of Physicians in Wound Healing. Dr Wells is also a former clinical assistant professor in the department of orthopedics at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, and an international lecturer and Surgeon of the Diabetic Foot and Lower Extremity Medicine. Dr Wells is active in doing annual dynamic diabetes education seminars and screenings in several islands of the Caribbean including Jamaica, Belize, Carriacou, Petite Martinique, and Grenada. He is the founder and CEO of the Diabetic Foot Centre Group which is responsible for educating and training physicians, nurses, and health care providers on how to develop multidisciplinary foot centers for the purpose of decreasing lower extremity amputations for diabetes.

Bruce Werber, DPM, MSc, FACFAS

Bruce Werber, DPM, MSc, FACFAS is presently a global healthcare consultant focused on regenerative therapies, practice management and patent litigation expert. During the years 2015 to the present, in addition to being a lower extremity reconstructive surgeon, he is consulting in orthopedics and having worked with several tissue banks in time period as CSO, CMO and president. He has created various processes to create functional safe perinatal regenerative allografts for the regenerative medicine arena. From 1981 to 2014, Dr Werber practiced as a Board-Certified reconstructive foot and ankle surgeon in Rhode Island and then in Arizona, the CEO of several medical practices 1981 until 2017. In 2012, Dr Werber founded and, from 2012 to 2015, served as the President of Amnio Technology LLC, creating the company as well as developing the processing and clinical science related to utilizing placental tissue in orthopedic medicine. Then working with BPSR (Organicell) to develop the science, placental and exosome allografts, then moving on to Anu Life Sciences which was then acquired by BioStem Life Sciences. Lastly moving to Thrivell to develop further improvements in processing and the science of how and why these tissues work to regenerate injured tissues/organs. Jacob Wynes, DPM, MS, FACFAS

Jacob Wynes, DPM, MS, FACFAS grew up in Baltimore, MD where he had been mentored by many outstanding podiatric surgeons. He later went on to graduate from the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine and continued to complete a 4-year residency at the University of Pennsylvania, Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. Dr Wynes then pursued an additional year of training as a clinical fellow at the Rubin Institute for Advanced Orthopedics, International Center for Limb Lengthening with a focus on foot and ankle deformity correction. Currently, Dr Wynes works at the University of Maryland School of Medicine as an Assistant Professor within the Department of Orthopaedics. Dr Wynes currently treats patients at the University of Maryland Medical Center. Dr Wynes remains active in-patient care, surgery, and research. He is the co-director of the UMMC Limb Preservation Clinic, fellowship program director for the UMSOM Limb Deformity Fellowship, and site director for the Baltimore VA and Medstar Health residency programs.

Daniel S Yaeger, DPM serves in the Department of Surgery at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He earned his BS in biology and rabbinic ordination from the Lander College for Men. He then went on to complete podiatry school and his residency at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine, serving as the academic coordinator his final year. Following residency Dr Yaeger joined the surgery department. Currently, Dr Yaeger works at NYC HHC Metropolitan and Lincoln. His duties include out-patient clinic, ER call, and management of inpatients. He has the privilege to work with 3rd and 4th year students as well as residents at the NYCPM / Metropolitan hospital residency. His primary interests are limb salvage, diabetic foot infections, forefoot deformity, Charcot reconstruction, Lisfranc and midfoot injuries, adult acquired flatfoot and delayed management of calcaneal fractures.
